Application to the Virginia Economic Development Partnership for grant funding under the Virginia Business Sites Readiness Program resulted in a site characterization of the park followed by a site development plan to advance the Surry West Business Park from a Tier 2 status when characterized to a Tier 4 Conditional status. A Tier 4 is a certifiable site meaning infrastructure deliverable or in place with property issues cleared. Additional water and/or sewer capacity may be required based on end-user need.
